Garibaldi Extends Its Global Reach with New Advisory Board Appointment

Garibaldi Capital Advisors, the fast growing Canadian technology investment banking firm headquartered in Vancouver, announces the appointment of international investment banker Marcus Shapiro to its Advisory Board.

Shapiro, 51, joins Garibaldi after a career in investment banking in London (UK) and New York (USA) spanning 25 years. Shapiro started his career as a corporate lawyer with CMS Cameron McKenna and worked from 1989 to 2001 for the Charterhouse, Crédit Commercial de France and HSBC Investment Bank groups. From 2001 to 2014, Shapiro was Co-Founder and Managing Director of the successful London, UK-based M&A boutique Amethyst Corporate Finance PLC. In June 2014 Shapiro immigrated to Canada with his family.
